Race weekends

  • Saturday = practice

  • 6 to 8 heats depending on circuit opening hours

Sunday = race day

  • 1 warm-up heat

  • 4 race heats:
    Starting grid heat 1 by lotery
    Starting grid for heat 2 based on reversed lotery
    Starting gridheat 3 / 4 by total points from previous heats

 

Locations:

  • On various circuits in NL, BE, DE, LUX, FR

Participation possible for

  • Solo Pilots

  • Teams

  • Maximum 2 pilots per race day

  • Multiple pilots allowed throughout the season

​

Championship of 6 race weekends

  • All heats award the same number of points
    1:25 / 2:18 / 3:15 / 4:12 / 5:10 / …

  • 4 worst heats may be deducted

  • Rewards for top 3 championship in collaboration with sponsors

EKS SAFETY

EKS & BLUE SHOCK RACE aim to have the races and events in safest possible conditions

  • BSR Power units are CE Certified and comply to “Low Voltage Directive” (kid safe) and “Machine Directive” for all safety

  • All race days medical assistance will be present according to needs

  •  Race track safety done by trained marshals from EKS EDUCATIONAL program

  • Fire prevention done actively and all precautions on site during race
    (Water box, F-500 fire-extinguisher, Li-Ion blankets)

  •  As organization, open to any suggestions to improve safety for all during events

  • Close contact with track owners to improve accommodations regarding safety
